Saunstorf Monastery is opening its monastery garden and park as part of the Open Gardens MV.
Guests can stop for coffee, cake or a hearty lunch in the Buddha-Café & Deli (formerly the monastery café).
Garden and nature lovers are welcome to explore the monastery garden with its lush flowers and vegetable garden. The park at Saunstorf Monastery has an old stock of trees and invites you to linger with its paths and seating areas.
At weekends, the monastery's gardening team is also available to answer your questions.
After a visit to the garden, the Buddha-Café & Deli welcomes all visitors to its reopening for a cup of coffee with cake. We also offer a small lunch menu with our lovingly prepared dishes. In sunny weather, you can also enjoy a good ice cream on the terrace!
