    Introduction and artist talk with Ruth Tesmar and Susanne Scherrer, cultural scientist

    As part of the Schwerin Culture Night 2024, we cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 5 p.m. in the bookstore littera et cetera.

    There will be an artist talk with the cultural scientist Susanne Scherrer, during which Ruth Tesmar will also read from her own notes.

    Ruth Tesmar, born in Potsdam in 1951, was an art professor at the Humboldt University in Berlin until 2016, where she headed the Menzel Dach.

    In addition to her paintings and prints, she also worked as a book artist and received various prizes for graphic and book art. Edition Stuttgart published the seven-volume splendid edition "Fairy Tales of the World" with extensive color illustrations by the Schwerin-based artist. A selection will be shown in the bookshop littera et cetera.
