The popular flat-bottomed boat sets off from Glückstadt on a total of five trips and offers a special kind of day trip that lets you forget your everyday worries and experience a pure holiday feeling. Thanks to its shallow draft, the Tidenkieker can dock where many ships can no longer reach. Depending on the tide, the route is set spontaneously and, in addition to the trip on the Elbe, often leads through one of the small tributaries or up the Stör. An expert guide is on board who vividly explains the special features of the landscape. The highlight of every trip is docking on one of the Elbe islands, usually Schwarztonnensand or the Brammer Bank.
