Ensemble Density has assembled an unusual collection of custom-designed electronics and repurposed acoustic instruments. The players intuitively guide their sounds along winding paths and the different voices interact in a way that the music eventually develops a mind of its own. Listeners are invited to escape the fractured algorithms of daily life and submerge themselves in the unpredictable but soothing concentric circles of ensemble improvisation.
