Actress and author Isabella Archan will be presenting her latest book "Die geheime Grotte von Garda" at this year's Women's Day event in Ludwigslust on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, two days before its publication. She will present a program with acted and read scenes about the Viennese chief inspector Edwina Teufel.

Edwina actually wants to finally make the most of her sabbatical and relax on Lake Garda - a boat trip to Garda, a well-earned ice cream and a shopping spree, followed by a date with friends at a nearby winery. But before Edwina can enjoy this, she becomes entangled in mysterious events surrounding the boy Peppe and his mother. A web of suspicions and secrets unfolds. Edwina has no choice but to help the police with their investigations, whether they are happy about it or not is beside the point.

Isabella Archan was born in Graz and, after training as an actress, has not only appeared on the stages of several major theaters, but has also appeared on television screens in series and feature films. Isabella Archan has been directing books herself for several years, including the successful crime series with the murderer Mitzi and the investigator Edwina Teufel on Lake Garda. In 2025, she won the prestigious Glauser Prize in the short thriller category.
