Family Sunday at the Schwerin-Mueß Open-Air Museum as part of Schwerin's Spring Awakening on April 22 in the Old Town, April 23 in Mueß.
Seed and plant exchange, information booths on nature-oriented gardening, a variety of hands-on activities, games, puppet theater, reading stories, guided tours of farm animals, live music and opening of all exhibition areas of the open-air museum Schwerin-Mueß.

If you like, you are welcome to start a joint bicycle tour to Mueß with the ADFC starting at 10 am.
Feel free to bring anything for your own picnic on the museum grounds!
Every year spring shows its most beautiful side in the Mueßer Freilichtmuseum. Fruit trees and flowers are in bloom. Old vegetables thrive in the gardens. Sheep, chickens and bees can be observed on the extensive meadows. In addition, many offers to exchange and participate, to stroll and enjoy. So you can welcome the spring, at the same time get interesting information about nature-oriented gardening, go on a family outing and experience culture at the same time:
- 10.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m. around farmhouse Hufe 5: Action day "Gardeners in the exchange frenzy" with seed and plant exchange and information booths on nature-oriented gardening.
- 11.00- 17.00 around farmhouse Hufe 5: Children's program with hands-on and creative activities
- 11.00, 12.30, 15.30 in the museum garden: fairy tale reading
- 11.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. at the small stage at the museum café: Wicht-Theater plays "Hans im Glück" - a puppet show based on the fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm
- 12.00 - 15.30 in the grounds: live music by the Schwerin tower brass band
- 1 p.m. in front of the Büdnerei: Public farm animal tour "With chicken and sheep through the year".
