Monteverdi: L’Orfeo / Leonardo García Alarcón

  • from 15.00€ to 78.00€

The story of this opera starts with an introduction by La Musica, the music in person: Claudio Monteverdi opens his version of the ancient love story of Orpheus and Eurydice with the prologue: the singer, whose voice could even wake the dead. Conductor Leonardo García Alarcón has this epic work with his Cappella Mediterranea specialised in early music firmly in his repertoire and says: »If life, death, love and music are the driving forces of humanity, L’Orfeo is perhaps the opera which epitomises them best.«
