Mona Asuka / Piano Recital

»Bach is the beginning and end of all music,« Max Reger once wrote. And there are probably very few who would disagree with him. To every musician and listener, Bach’s musical cosmos seems infinite in its richness, depth, and all-encompassing grandeur. And last but not least, Bach’s music is also traveling in space: no fewer than three pieces by Bach can be found on the Voyager Golden Records – more than by any other composer. It is therefore highly fitting that pianist Mona Asuka is now performing Bach’s works to projections of images of space: a sensational audiovisual sound journey through cosmic expanses.
