Understanding the brain - living mindfulness. Experience an inspiring evening that combines neuroscientific findings with practical mindfulness!
Part 1: Your brain and the power of thoughts
Why does the inner bastard exist and what is it good for? How do habits develop and what influence do they have on your thoughts and actions? In this lecture, you will gain exciting insights into how the brain works, neuronal connections and stimulus filters. Find out how thoughts influence your perception, attitudes and moods - and how you can actively change your thought patterns through neuromental training. Using the latest findings from neuroscience and proven mental methods, you will learn to think more consciously, understand your habits and shape your life in a positive way.
Part 2: Mindfulness & meditation in practice
In the second part of the evening, we will delve into the world of mindfulness together. You will learn how mindfulness helps you to consciously experience the moment, look at everyday life with curiosity and find inner peace. We will explore why mindfulness is non-judgemental, what it has to do with acceptance and how it leads to more joy in life. Through practical exercises such as a guided body scan and meditation, you will experience how mindfulness and conscious awareness affect the body and mind - and why living in the here and now is so powerful.
