An approach to Heinrich von Kleist's essay "On the Marionette Theatre".
The essay "On Marionette Theatre", published in 1810, is today one of Heinrich von Kleist's most widely read writings. To approach the philosophical text, Thomas Zürn has created the format of an interactive workshop theatre programme.
The improvisations with marionettes performed by Thomas Zürn and the invitation to the audience to experiment with theatre marionettes themselves provide assistance for a deeper understanding of the philosophical text.
