Lost & Dark Places in Mecklenburg

Reading and lecture with Oliver Hübner

Adventure is sometimes right on your doorstep: abandoned and mystical places around Schwerin are waiting to be discovered. Whether old hotels, former barracks, shipwrecks or the ruins of once magnificent castles and manor houses - these places tell of times gone by and exude an eerie charm.
Our region of Mecklenburg is also home to many of these fascinating places.
Oliver Hübner has tracked them down for the book series "Lost & Dark Places" and captured them in atmospheric pictures and stories.
At a photo lecture, the author will present photographs of these abandoned places and read from his books, focusing on the region around Schwerin.

Oliver Hübner is an author, blogger and freelance web designer - and your travel guide to the darker sides of history.
