The Koppel 66 Artists' House invites you to the 2025 Advent Fair, Art, Crafts, and Design in Hamburg-St. Georg
The Künstlerhaus “Koppel 66” in Hamburg is looking forward to celebrating craftsmanship, creativity, and the art of gift-giving on the four Advent weekends. And this year, the artists' community is looking forward to an extraordinary fair with an impressive response: it received a record number of applications—proof of the vitality, diversity, and relevance of the arts and crafts scene.
Visitors can look forward to a rich selection of special gifts for friends, family, or themselves. In addition to the 14 studios in the building, a total of around 70 exhibitors from all over Germany will be presenting their works. Numerous new exhibitors will be represented, promising a diverse and exciting fair experience. We are particularly delighted to welcome many young artists and artisans who will enrich the fair with fresh ideas.
To ensure a constantly new and appealing experience, a large number of the exhibitors will change after two weeks, so it is worth visiting several times to experience the full range of what is on offer – perfect for finding unique Christmas gifts.
Koppel 66:
The Advent fair is traditionally held in the historic rooms of the former machine factory at Koppel 66 in the St. Georg district, which celebrated its centenary last year. For 45 years now, the artist community “Koppel 66” has had its supportive home on the three floors of the imposing building and has shaped the special character of the place with its consistency and the high quality of the arts and crafts cultivated here.
Highlights:
- The award ceremony for the sponsorship prize for special arts and crafts on November 29, 2025,
starting at 3:30 p.m. This prize, worth 900 euros and awarded by an independent jury of experts,
recognizes outstanding craftsmanship and design achievements.
- The art and design raffle on Saturday, December 13, 2024, starting at 12 p.m., where lucky visitors
can win one of this year's exhibitors' works.
- Vegan or vegetarian refreshments are available at the cozy Café Koppel on the ground floor, and
the Hanging Out Cafe on the second floor spoils visitors with modern urban delicacies.
