On May 4, 2026, the Politics Working Group and the Sports and Inclusion Department of the Alsterdorf Protestant Foundation invite you to an information event about Hamburg's potential Olympic bid at the Kulturküche (Culture Kitchen) in the Alsterdorf Market. What would the Olympics mean for Hamburg, for sports, and for accessibility in the city? What opportunities and risks does the project entail? Representatives of the Olympic bid will answer these and other questions on-site and invite you to participate in the discussion and form your own opinion on the referendum. To ensure that as many people as possible can participate, the event will be moderated in plain language and interpreted into sign language. An induction loop will also transmit the audio directly to hearing aids and cochlear implants. This creates an environment in which information, exchange, and participation in the democratic process are possible for everyone.
