Khatia Buniatishvili / Piano Recital

In an interview, Khatia Buniatishvilli once said, »I wish to share my love of classical music. That is my mission.« She is certainly more emotionally communicative than most of her contemporaries when performing and can be seen conducting along and swaying to the rhythms while her facial expressions clearly reflect the joy and pain she feels in the music. Her audiences adore her for it. The Georgian-French pianist’s concerts are a work of art in their own right and she takes a highly individual approach to interpreting how to play each piece. At the heart of everything she does is her belief that freedom is the most valuable thing in life. This even includes having the freedom to not decide in advance which pieces she will play at a concert. Although the exact details are still a secret, you can be sure this will be a remarkable and memorable evening.
