"IN THE VALLEY OF DEATH"
Deep in the mountains of Mexico lies a hidden canyon spoken of with fear by the elders. They call it the "Valley of Death." There is no whisper of wind, no birdsong – and even the howling of coyotes is said to have fallen silent in the eternal darkness. In this valley, the businessman Roulin reigns, a true devil in human form. He forces his captives to work in the toxic fumes of a mercury mine. No one has ever escaped his clutches.
Not far away, life pulses in the picturesque town of San Miguel. In the cantina, the lively Senorita Miranda dances and sings. But the town is threatened by the war of two rival tribes: The Maricopas have dug up the hatchet against the Chiricahua Apaches. Winnetou (Alexander Klaws) and his friends stand against the fight – but suddenly they find themselves face to face with the "Silver Man"...
