Isidore Cohen, violinist in the Juilliard String Quartet (and later in the Beaux Arts Trio), is the namesake of this ensemble, which was founded in 2019 at New York's legendary Juilliard School. Their first prize at the Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2022 and the triumphs they have celebrated in concert halls across North America and Europe since then leave no doubt that the tradition of the great American string quartets is in the very best hands with them.
