International Reading

Ten people. Ten countries. Ten languages. One common theme: “Building Bridges.”

At “Lesen International,” ten people from different countries write their own texts on a shared theme each year and read them to the Schwerin audience in their native languages.

Guests can read the German translations in an accompanying magazine. The result is a special evening blending literature and sound—a brief journey through the languages of the world, carried by ten personal voices.
