As a songwriter and singer of countless all-time classics of rock/pop, soul, gospel, jazz, folk, blues and rhythm'n'blues, Inga Rumpf has become an icon of the music scene. For her 75th birthday, she went on an autobiographical journey through time with her book "Darf ich was vorsingen". She is now getting up close to her audience and letting them share in her life, which began in 1946 in the famous Hamburg district of St. Georg. At the acoustic festival evening in Reinbek Castle, she will sit down at the piano, pick up her beloved guitar, sing and read from her book.
