The curtain goes up, come what may. And hopefully no one notices that a lot is going wrong in this comedy - and not just for the couple in the play. They have accidentally invited their ex-husband to the dinner party as well as their good friend and her new partner. Under no circumstances are the two allowed to meet. The couple now try to cover up the mishap and prevent the catastrophe as best they can in ludicrous actions. But there is even more trouble behind the scenes! Because the comedy about the botched party dinner is actually a play for seven people. However, as the majority of the cast have resigned in the meantime and the only remaining colleague cancels at the last minute, the two actors present have no choice but to take on all the other roles without further ado. This requires quick moves and a talent for improvisation. But right at the beginning of the play, one of them just can't think of the lines. Until just now, he thought he had been invited to dub today ...
On the forestage in the theater tent, Steffi Kühnert stages this fast-paced comedy based on motifs by comedy master Michael Frayn(The Naked Madness) as tremendous theatrical fun, about the small and large catastrophes on, in front of and behind the stage - or also: our daily bread.
