Hyelim Kim is one of the most outstanding pianists of her generation. With her virtuoso and sensitive playing, she delights audiences all over the world. In the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, Hyelim Kim presents a varied and exciting programme. Kim begins with Franz Liszt’s »Bénédiction de Dieu dans la solitude«, a highly expressive work from the cycle »Harmonies poétiques et religieuses«. This is followed by Franz Schubert’s Piano Sonata in A minor, one of the most important works in the piano literature. Finally, after the interval, she will play Frédéric Chopin’s Four Scherzos, which are among the most technically demanding pieces in Chopin’s oeuvre.
