Christmas big band brilliance at the Zeughaus Wismar - three ensembles, one unforgettable afternoon

We cordially invite you to a pre-Christmas concert under the motto "Here comes Santa Claus" on Sunday at 3 pm in the historic Zeughaus Wismar. Admission is free - a musical Advent afternoon for the whole family.

The program takes you through American and German Christmas worlds: The Krümelmonster from the Kreismusikschule NWM will open the concert with fresh, young sounds and give an insight into Jana Rohloff's dedicated work with young talent. The Big Band Wismar will then take over with swinging arrangements familiar from American Christmas classics. The festive finale is provided by the Jellyfish Jazz Orchestra, which brings the theme "Here Santa Claus" to life in a special way with jazzy grooves, contemplative melodies and energetic big band sounds.

You can look forward to a mixture of traditional German Christmas carols, modern American Christmas songs and jazzy new versions - a musical arc that awakens Christmas feelings on many levels

Admission free. The bands are happy to receive a donation at the exit.

Catering will be provided by the graduates of the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium and the Friendsof the District Music School"Musikschulfreunde e.V."
