Spring and Autumn - as reliable as the rhythm of the seasons is the annual fairground in Heide. The showmen are always keen to celebrate the beginning and end of the season with special attractions in Heide.
Just in time for the beginning of spring, the starting point for the new fairground season is Heider Marktplatz. More than 60 showmen and market feeders with numerous rides and restaurants will be guests on the Heider Marktplatz.
As every year, the 38 meter high Ferris wheel is the highly visible attraction of West Coast's largest fair, which is considered by the showmen to be an important indicator of the new season.
At the end of the carnival season comes the autumn market with many attractions in the Dithmarscher county town: traditionally, here too numerous rides on the Heider market place to guest. Classics such as the music express, many other carousels and a car scooter provide fun and thrill.
Among the more than 40 showmen are numerous snack stalls, which round off the walk over the market with crepes, bratwurst or roasted almonds.
