Health Dialogue Forum: Paths to strong and sustainable healthcare in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

The Konrad Adenauer Foundation's Health Dialogue Forum sheds light on the central challenges of medical care in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Experts discuss ways to achieve reliable healthcare.
The German healthcare system is facing major challenges: rising demand for care, growing costs and an increasing shortage of doctors are putting a strain on rural regions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in particular. New study place models, extended quotas and innovative care approaches should help to strengthen the next generation of doctors and secure care in the long term. At the same time, there is a greater focus on the stable provision of medicines.
As part of the Health Dialogue Forum, Simone Borchardt MdB (health policy spokesperson for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag), Prof. Dr. Steffen Floßa (University of Greifswald) and Henning Kutzbach (BARMER) will discuss the prospects for modern and reliable healthcare in M-V.
