First KON-Takte concert in 2026 at the Schwerin Conservatory

Preparation for the Jugend musiziert competition
To kick off the KON-Takte 2026 concert series, guests can look forward to a concert with students from the conservatory who are preparing for the Jugend musiziert competition.
On Friday, 16.01.2026 at 7 pm, they will present excerpts from their program in a stimulating concert atmosphere in the Brigitte Feldtmann Saal, which they will perform to the juries a week later in the regional competition. They will perform compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Jean Barriere, Nicolas Vallet, Friedrich Silcher and William Gillock, among others, with piano, violin, cello and voice. The popular KON-Takte concert series has been running for twenty-two years now. The charm of this series lies in the mix of the familiar and the unexpected. There will once again be nine attractive concerts in 2026.
Admission to the event on 16.01.2026 costs 6 euros, concessions 4 euros. Season tickets for all nine concerts will also be available on the evening of the concert at a price of 50 euros (concessions 38 euros). Tickets can be reserved by emailing Ms. Semlow at dsemlow@schwerin.de. Access to the Brigitte Feldtmann Saal is barrier-free.
