Art Open in Heidekaten: Textile art, book reading, live music, sheep...
In the wooden pavilion in Heidekaten you can expect imaginative felt-silk clothing, hats, felt objects for the garden and seat cushions by Martina Weiß, as well as unusual knitted patchwork clothing and patchwork quilts by textile artist Annette Ebel.
There are many sayings to discover in the beautiful courtyard. You can visit the felting workshop and gladly get inspired and register for a felting course.
Children and adults are invited to pet the three sheep of the farm as well as the tomcat.
Spontaneous readings from the book "You don't have to understand life" by Martina Weiß will take place at 12:00 each day and as needed. From 2000 to 2018, she spoke (annually and after a 13-year break) with people in her neighborhood, mostly people who have moved in, about the issues of life: everyday life, partnership, children, self-realization, dealing with crises.... Among the protagonists is also the painter and graphic artist Rolf Möller.
