FEUERBACH QUARTET – LEGENDS: 4 musicians from 4 nations who combine Beethoven, Beatles, Nirvana and the Dire Straits in a classic string quartet with breathtaking enthusiasm and thus redefine the term “chamber music”. People sing to Rammstein, clap to Toto, whistle to Michael Jackson. The FEUERBACH QUARTETT, like no other ensemble, succeeds in transmitting its passion and joy for music directly to the audience.

They studied together at the Nuremberg University of Music - today the members of the FEUERBACH QUARTET teach as lecturers and are jurors at important competitions. In its new program “Legends”, the follow-up to “Born tob e wild”, the FEUERBACH QUARTET dedicates itself to the music of his childhood: his parents’ favorite music, the first piece on the violin, the last song at the prom. Growing up in different cultures, the four musicians of the FEUERBACH QUARTET bring together their musical reminiscences and celebrate the soundtrack of their youth together. An Azerbaijani folk song meets “Sultans of Swing” and childhood hero Marty McFly starts dancing when the film music of “Back to the Future” and Abba’s “Dancing Queen” shake hands. The title song of “Ghostbusters” and “Thriller” by Michael Jackson are reminiscent of the scariest nightmares of childhood, like Toto's “Africa” of the first parties, Nirvana's “Heart Shared Box” of the first self-purchased single and “Sweet Dreams” of the cozy duvet in the children's room. The album “Born To Be Child” was released on November 9th, 2019 on the FUEGO label.

Max Eisinger, Violin II: Born in Munich in 1993, he received his first violin lessons at the age of 5. As a cross-genre soloist and ensemble musician, he plays concerts throughout Europe in a variety of ensembles, including with the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, the Munich Radio Orchestra, the Munich Pocket Philharmonic, the Monaco Swing Ensemble, the guitarists Diknu Schneeberger and Stochelo Rosenberg, Mulo Francel (Quadro Nuevo), the David Lübke Trio and the Berliner Steigreif.Orchester, as well as with numerous self-founded jazz and swing bands. He studied violin, jazz and composition at the music colleges in Nuremberg, Hanover, Warsaw and Amsterdam. His most influential teachers and mentors included Prof. Lydia Dubrovskaya, Prof. Bernhard Schmidt (Mandelring Quartet), Stephan Braun, Mateusz Smoczynski (Turtle Island Quartet) and Tim Kliphuis.
