For the New Year: Festive Brass Concert
Benefit concert for the trombone choir work of the trombone choir Bad Segeberg.
The Brass Breeze was founded in 2020 and consists of eleven musicians, all of whom are involved in trombone choirs of the Trombone Association Hamburg – Schleswig-Holstein.
Based on the coast, in Kiel or Hamburg, they named themselves "Brass Breeze": Everyone enjoys the fresh breeze on their faces – and at the same time the audience is to experience a pleasant breeze of warm brass sound in the concerts.
The ensemble primarily plays compositions for ten-part formations, with each voice being independently assigned and organized by the members with a high degree of personal responsibility.
Additionally, pieces from the trombone choir literature are part of the repertoire, and the musicians showcase their versatility in changing formations: sometimes a trombone quartet, sometimes a high brass ensemble, a double choir, or the full sound of the ten-part formation.
