To mark the awarding of the first Bach Prize to Paul Hindemith, the CPE. Bach Akademie.Hamburg brings the history of this award to life. Since 1951, Hamburg has honored composers in the spirit of Johann Sebastian Bach. The celebratory concert continues this tradition, combining works by Hindemith and Olivier Messiaen, performed by a young, international duo.
