Festive service to mark 300 years of the pulpit altar in St. Thomas Church, Damshagen.
This year we are celebrating a special anniversary: our pulpit altar from 1724 is 300 years old. And we want to celebrate that.
The festive service will be conducted by Heidrun Fischer, parish educator, and Dirk Greverus, pastor of Jakobus-Kirchengemeinde Roggenstorf. We are still in the middle of the preparations, but more information will be available here shortly. But this much can already be revealed: the Damshagen church support group is endeavoring to have two more altar figures restored: "Faith" and "Hope" will hopefully soon adorn our altar again.
