    To mark her 75th birthday, the Kulturforum is honoring Ruth Tesmar with a comprehensive retrospective. The fantastic, multifaceted visual world of the painter, graphic artist, illustrator, calligrapher and object artist can be experienced in both galleries and in the Remise with the print workshop.
    Ruth Tesmar, born in Potsdam in 1951, studied painting and graphic art at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art. As an art professor, she led the seminar for artistic-aesthetic practice, the legendary MENZEL-DACH, at the Humboldt University in Berlin from 1993-2016.
    Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions and collections. She has received various prizes for graphic design and book art. Ruth Tesmar lives and works in Schwerin.

    The artist will be present at the opening of the exhibition.
