Plenty of history and stories, new and old, battle and love, play and seriousness… | FUNDUS THEATER | Production team: Gyde Borth, Arne Bustorff, Sylvia Deinert, Monika Els, Maren Grabe, Tanja Gwiasda, Nils Knott, Tine Krieg, Guy Marsan, Alexander Nham, Nicola Reinmöller, Nicolas Wolf

There's a lot going on in the world – including in Ährenfeld, Dinglingen, and Brodelmoor. Countries that are very different. Here, where Pine comes from, more agriculture is practiced. Where Örjan lives, things are more likely to be invented and manufactured. And there, with Asha, it's important to keep your feet on the ground. But these countries have one thing in common: A border. And unpredictable things happen when borders are crossed. Is that opportunity or risk? Our game pieces, whom we let climb over the edge of their board games, are also asking themselves this question.

"Das Blau vom Himmel" (The Blue from the Sky) addresses war, providing teachers and parents with an opportunity to address this complex and, unfortunately, highly topical issue. A further brochure is available upon request. It is also available for download on our website! Following the performances, there will be an opportunity for a discussion with the ensemble, for example, for school classes.

Excerpts from student reviews:

"The play made me think in a positive way, because our world isn't all that different. There are industrialized countries, developing countries, and resource-rich countries. Wars break out, disputes are reconciled, there are large societies, and within them, religions; a very interesting play."
"I like the play because it deals with a difficult topic, how a war arises between different societies, and it is explained in an understandable way."
Teacher's quote: "The topic is highly topical and it's implemented so well. With a wide range of resources."
