A one-time accreditation is required for participation in the professional training. The accreditation allows you to purchase tickets for the professional training. Click here for the conditions of participation.
This series of Countertechnique classes begins with warm-ups and stretches to create length and ease in the body, gradually building into dynamic and expansive movement phrases. The classes explore principles such as directing and counter-directing, reducing tension, and horizontal falling energy. Dancers learn to move with less effort and more momentum, enabling bigger, smoother dancing with greater freedom in space.
