Mixed-Abled Jongale performance with John Dogobone & Roland Walter [Berlin]
Roland Walter, a passionate coffee drinker and wheelchair user, relies on the help of his assistant, John Dagobone, to prepare a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, John is completely overwhelmed by this simple task. With dreamlike aplomb, this tragic miscast in human form stumbles through the scenery, managing to do absolutely everything wrong. He juggles coffee cups and water bottles as if the whole thing were some grand circus.
Loosely based on Loriot's "The Picture Hangs Crooked," the stage increasingly becomes a madhouse, and Roland becomes the victim of a very special kind of torture: caffeine-free hell. Between the slapstick and the faint hope of a working coffee machine, only one question remains: Will Roland finally be able to enjoy his beloved roasted bean hot drink?
