Young musicians present their work

On Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 11 a.m., a high-caliber closing concert will take place as a matinee in the Brigitte Feldtmann Hall of the Schwerin Conservatory at Puschkinstraße 6. The event is dedicated to the participants of the “Banned Music” workshop at the Schwerin Conservatory. Over the course of three days, thirty young musicians from all over Germany have been rehearsing works by ostracized composers. The participants range from young music students to college students studying music. The workshop has already become a tradition and is intended to inspire the young musicians to participate in the next “Verfemte Musik” competition, which will take place in 2027 at the Rostock University of Music and Drama.

Admission is free. The Brigitte Feldtmann Hall is accessible to people with disabilities.
