As every year at Christmas, the museum's long-standing tour guides Micha Glockemann and Dietmar Hantke give a special guided tour on the subject of Christmas throughout history. What different role did the festival play over the course of Wismar's almost 800-year history compared to today? You will learn more about the background to old customs and traditions and see which have survived to this day and which have long since become obsolete.
