BurgArt "Spring Awakening" at the historic Neustadt-Glewe Castle on April 26, 2026, 11-17 hrs. Flower and plant dealers, offers for home & garden, decoration & accessories as well as lots of craftsmanship will once again transform the historic castle into a place for beautiful & extraordinary things on this day. A colorful program for the whole family awaits visitors. The Neustädter Burgverein invites you to a medieval camp. There will be many hands-on stations to try out and have fun, including archery. In the castle's Hofstube there are also a number of workshops on paper, felt and soapstone. A nice little café in the Hofstube invites you to enjoy coffee and fresh homemade cakes. Maritime & Irish folk music with Ron Beitz and juggling & mischief with juggler Max invite you to linger. Spring wines can be enjoyed in the wine lounge on the castle meadow. There is plenty to discover and browse. There will also be plenty of food and drink to satisfy both small and large appetites. Also take the opportunity on the day to take a look inside the historic castle. How people lived, ate, slept and lived back then. You can experience this on a short tour of the castle. Enjoy the hustle and bustle of the market from a different perspective, looking down from the 28m high castle tower.
