With colorful lanterns, lamps and torches through the OTTER CENTER in the evening
For the fifth time, the popular autumnal lantern parade will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, starting at 5 p.m. in the OTTER-ZENTRUM wildlife park in Hankensbüttel.
The free lantern parade for all ages will wind its way through part of the large zoo. The starting point is at 6:00 p.m. in front of the main entrance of the Otter Center. From 4:30 p.m. onwards, parents, their children, and all other interested parties can enjoy pretzels, sausages, punch, and mulled wine. Adults who prefer to carry a torch instead of a lantern can purchase one for €5. Accompanied by music, the colorful sea of lights will then meander along the network of paths, past the ermine heath, otter pond, and marten den, and back to the starting point via the themed forest trail.
