Plattdüütsch' stories and singing with Susanne Bliemel and Thomas Naedler

The Förderverein der Kirche zu Kirch Stück e.V. is kicking off its 2025 series of events with a highlight!

On Friday, January 31, 2025 at 7.30 pm , we will be hosting Susanne Bliemel and Thomas Naedler with their program "Blink un Blank" - plattdüütsch' Geschichten un Gesang .

The event will take place in the "Landhaus Schwerin", An der Chaussee 28, Schwerin-Medewege.

What many people don't know: There was an oversupply of bananas in the GDR. Tablets for the dog are not for the cat and if you wanted to borrow a seedling, you had bad cards. "Blink un Blank" refers to two things that go well together when thrown into a pot or, so as not to staple the picture crookedly into the frame, placed on a stage.

Susanne Bliemel and Thomas Naedler are "Blink un Blank". With their joint program, they only want one thing: to tell stories. Susanne Bliemel has written hers down and kept them safe between book covers. Thomas Naedler has rhymed his with a few guitar chords. The evening could also be called "Unheard and Unheard", as much of it is an experiment.

The stories are told, read and sung in Platt, simply because it sounds wonderful Dat ward kandidel.

Get ready for an entertaining and cozy evening in the "Landhaus Schwerin".

A warm invitation to all! Admission is free. At the end of the event, the Förderverein will be collecting donations to fund accessible access to the main portal of the Kirch Stück church
