Blue-city hiking with National Park wading guide: The extraordinary National Park experience!

The Blauortsand is located 7 km off the coast in the middle of the North Sea. At high water the island protrudes 2 meters from the North Sea. At low tide, the running water clears the sea floor and thus also the way to the Blauortsand.
Experience how to become land from the sea. Hike with experienced National Park wadders to Blauortsand. You will experience the rivers of the sea (from the micro-priel to the giant prince). Walk through areas where the water is 3 meters high. On the Blauortsand we can enjoy the white sand, the endless expanse and the magnificent nature of the Wattenmeer.

Length of the waterbike approx. 20 km, duration: approx. 7 hours!

Participation from 12 years, limited number of participants,
Registration required: Johann P. Franzen, Tel .: 0 48 34/9 84 47 66 or 0174/6152421!
As a reminder, each participant will receive a certificate showing the hiking route in the chart.

You need the following hiking equipment: suitable footwear or barefoot (after consultation with Watts leader at registration), rainproof clothing, change clothing, headgear, sun protection, provisions, possibly binoculars and destination book.

In the case of a weather-dependent failure of the hiking trip, the alternative offer: excursion (approx. 4-5 hours) with own cars along the coast "between Eider and Elbe" with salt meadows guidance to Hallig Helmsand.

Weather: The constant is with us the unstable. Imagine an intense sun exposure (protect face, head and shoulders), a cool wind and rain (jacket). Please think of changing clothes and provisions (drinks). Footwear: At appropriate temperatures (from about 13 degrees and little wind) you can walk barefoot. Otherwise in "beachies", fixed linen shoes or solid, high rubber boots, especially with health problems.
Attention: on our homepage watterleben.de there are further dates and info about the wattling tours! Check it out!

Prices: adults 30, children over 12 years 25, parking and beach use free of charge!
