Large arts and crafts Easter market in the Wismar market and event hall
For many Wismar residents, a visit to the Easter market in the market and event hall at Wismar's old harbor is probably the long-awaited start to spring. From March 15-17, numerous exhibitors invite you to the colorful and varied start of the season in the Easter-decorated hall. The overall theme - Easter - will be reflected at many stands and what could be better suited to this than the egg, with its many different design options. Lovingly engraved or made of beautiful ceramics, sometimes simply left natural. Of course, the range of creative artisans will include many other beautiful and handmade items, such as expertly crafted precious woods, handmade silver jewelry from "grandma's good cutlery" or masterful bookbinding work. The handmade natural soaps in a wide variety of fragrances, brushes and brooms are almost a "must". Anyone interested in the history of the beautiful Hanseatic City of Wismar in addition to the colorful market hustle and bustle is sure to find what they are looking for at the stand of the Wismar Archive Association.
All young visitors can look forward to a daily children's craft activity, expertly supervised by the craft specialists from the "Licht am Horizont" association.
Fresh fruit, warm pastries, spices, teas, various cheeses and a range of snacks also make the Wismar Easter market a unique culinary experience. The Easter market is open on Friday, March 15, from 11.00 am to 6.00 pm, on Saturday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm and on Sunday from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.
