A bus stop becomes a small art station for a weekend. Spontaneous, open to all, with inviting street art to walk past and marvel at.

For one weekend, the bus stop in our village is transformed into a small gallery. People who normally wait for the bus encounter hand-painted illustrations, small fragments of text and humorous statements that invite reflection.

The art stop shows that cultural venues do not have to be created from scratch, but that existing places can be used creatively. The idea is to use spaces temporarily instead of changing them structurally. Based on natural cycles, existing structures are used without interfering with existing materials and without generating a lot of waste.

The exhibited works take up social and everyday themes, often with humorous elements and diverse physical representations. The aim is to provide low-threshold access to art, regardless of whether people come specifically or just happen to pass by.

The exhibition is attached with adhesive materials and then removed without leaving any residue. It shows that creative expression can take place in public spaces, especially in rural areas.
Last year, a small flea market, a break room, a chatting corner, a flower stand and a comic corner developed at the bus stop. It remains to be seen what form it will take this year. Visitors are welcome to drop by, enjoy a drink they have brought with them, read a book or simply observe what develops. If you like, you are welcome to bring a small picnic basket. Let's see if anyone is there waiting.
