ARCHIVES, SCORES AND DEMONS

The Choreographic Labs are a series of workshops for professional dancers and choreographers that complement the K3 professional training program. Instead of short training sessions, the focus here is on in-depth methods, practices, and research processes.

Inka Romani explores the intersections between memory, censorship, and the body as an archive of resistance. Participants will engage with archival materials and their potential for re-enactment and rewriting, delving into the relationship between past and present. The Lab centers on how to enter and exit form, in which ways one can rebel against choreography, and where the demon might inhabit each person’s body.

The lab will be held in English | For professional dance practitioners | Ticket + course cover both days
