On Saturday, August 24, there will be plenty going on again at the Archaeological Open-Air Museum in Groß Raden. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be a large medieval camp with 60 participants on the theme of "Harvest". The harvest in the early Middle Ages was essential for people's survival 1000 years ago, as the long winter was approaching and people had to live off their own provisions. Visitors to the museum's outdoor area can experience how people celebrated these festivities and their rituals for this occasion so long ago. There are also medieval games, herbalism, archery and open combat training. A snack will be provided.
