Anniversary Ride on the Historic Railroad

The historic HTW 26 railcar will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion, Schwerin Public Transportation (NVS) is offering several free special trips between Bertha-Klingberg-Platz and the hospitals. Passengers can board at select stops along the route.

The historic HTW 26 railcar is celebrating its 100th anniversary. To mark this special occasion, Schwerin Public Transit is offering several special trips along the historic route between Bertha-Klingberg-Platz and the hospitals.

Those interested can board and disembark at selected stops along the route. No ticket is required for these rides; they are free of charge, subject to available seating. Please note that the rides on this historic train are unfortunately not accessible.

The special trips invite you to experience a piece of Schwerin’s local transit and city history. The schedules for these dates will be published separately at www.nahverkehr-schwerin.de.
