JazzAmen presents: A new Family Affair - Ella & Kjell feat. Ingolf Burkhardt
intimate sound of jazz, folk and soul

In the JazzAmen series, Jazz Award winners Ella (Burkhardt) & Kjell (Kitzing) will be joining us with new songs. The successful duo is joined once again by trumpeter Ingolf Burkhardt , Ella's father, known to many as one of the main soloists of the NDR Big Band and a fixture on the European jazz and trumpet scene. Together, they will once again conjure an intimate sound of jazz, folk, and soul onto our stage, creating space for dreams and contemplation.

The trio's repertoire includes their own songs as well as standards from Gershwin to Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash, and Bob Dylan – crossing genre boundaries with joy and fearlessness. We can look forward to another exciting and relaxed "Family Affair" at the Kulturkirche Altona!

Ella Burkhardt: Vocals / Guitar
Kjell Kitzing: Guitar / Vocals
Ingolf Burkhardt: trumpet
