A Bach Odyssee

A Bach Odyssee

  • from 19.00€ to 19.00€

Exploring space and time: The SPIIC+ Ensemble returns to the JazzHall after its brilliant performance at the International Bach Festival. Starting with the music of C.P.E. Bach, it continues its journey, seeking new ways to bring tradition, modernity, the present, and the avant-garde into a contemporary dialogue – rethinking composition, improvisation, and performance holistically.

Featuring technological sound creations from the laboratories of the ligeti zentrum. SPIIC+ stands for Social Performance, Interdisciplinary Improvisation & Creativity – a project of the ligeti zentrum under Vlatko Kučan. The student ensemble has garnered international acclaim since 2018 and will perform at the ICMC in Hamburg in 2026, among other venues.
