OUT OF ROSENHEIM became a cult classic in the 1980s and made Marianne Sägebrecht an international star. It won the Ernst Lubitsch Prize, the Bavarian Film Prize, the Federal Film Prize in gold and silver, and the César for Best Foreign Film.
