The medieval castle festival looks back on a long tradition of international cooperation and international understanding. Regional customs and cultural identity are at the forefront of the castle festival. Historical handicrafts, Mit-Mach workshops for children, medieval market hustle and bustle, sword fights, battle turmoil, knight tournaments, music, Gaukelei & also fire shows are in planning. The mix of unique different elements make the castle festival an unforgettable event especially for families.
