Tour: "Between Rudolph, Otto and Victoria" with Wiebke Johannsen

Between the Dammtor and Millerntor, our birthday child, the Wallringpark ***, invites you to walk and to acquire knowledge. Here the Scots were closed until December 31, 1860, here is the limit of the baroque city expansion, here the Bremen art gardener Albert Altmann created a park dream 200 years ago from the war bulwark. Why Rudolph After the bastion, where we not only have a very nice view here - and because the former defense system can be understood here. And Victoria ? Victoria, the giant water lily blooms late in September. We start at the Stephansplatz entrance (near the Dammtorbahnhof) at Café Flowers and after about two hours we pass the Millerntor, where the "granite pepper shaker" called Otto greets us at the Casparus bastion.

*** Incidentally, the name "Planten un Blomen" first appeared at the "Low German Garden Show" in 1935.

Experience the city's history on a walk in the park!
