To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the first chess club in Uelzen, the chess department of Post SV Uelzen e.V. is organizing the 1st Uhlenköper Open from December 27th, 2024 to December 31st, 2024. 9 rounds will be played according to the Swiss system, Elo and DWZ evaluation. The entry fee is €64 for adults, €44 reduced. Signing up deadline: December 6, 2024.
The following prize money will be awarded:
1st place: €1,200.00, 2nd place: €1,000.00, 3rd place: €800.00, 4th place: €600.00, 5th place: €500, Best youth (U18), best woman, best participant with 0 < Elo 1700: €300 each. Double prizes are excluded. Prizes will only be awarded if you are personally present at the award ceremony.
